Photoshoots of bands/artists can be found on this page. Alyssa aims to showcase Belfast’s finest musicians through the use of the beautiful scenery in and around Belfast.

Lemonade Shoelace

Lemonade Shoelace, otherwise known as Ruairi Richman, is a solo artist from Newcastle, County Down. His music has a mesmerising psychedelic feel to it, similar to that of Tame Impala (Kevin Parker). Richman released his first EP in April 2023, consisting of 5 songs that create a beautifully crafted sound in the listeners ears and also, "...load up the senses with colour, rich melodies and textures..." (Richman, 2024)

Richman has played many places in Belfast and has even ventured to London, Liverpool, Manchester, Brighton and Dublin to play gigs.

GRIERAT

GRIERAT are a grunge band from Belfast consisting of Conlan (first image - left), Calum (second from left), Alex (second from right) and Zack (right). They have performed at places such as the Oh Yeah Music Centre, Voodoo and HMV. Their music style is quite different to the rest of the bands Alyssa has photographed so it was nice to get a variety of different sounds.

Hotel Maze

Hotel Maze are an alternative/indie band from Belfast. The band consists of 5 members - Luke (first image - left), Ellen (second from left), Niall (middle), Jordan (second from right) and Ross (right). They have played in places such as The Pavilion, Queen's Student Union, The Sunflower Public House, Oh Yeah Music Centre and Ulster Sports Club. They recently released their second single 'Nightshift' which was a huge hit!

Caolan McNulty

20 year old, Caolan McNulty, is originally from Co Fermanagh and would frequently be found busking in Belfast, however, he now lives in Australia! He has been busking for over a year now and has even got himself gigs in Australia’s local bars!

Radio Houston Project

Radio Houston Project is an acoustic, electronic project by Dylan Robinson. He is from Strabane but resides in Belfast. Robinson has played in The American Bar, Dicey Riley's Strabane, The Sunflower Public House, Bennigans Bar and The Union Bar. His music is incredible and almost unearthly.

Gondola

Gondola is a Belfast, Holywood and Bangor based band consisting of 4 members - Eben (first image - left), Blair (second from left), Charlie (second from right) and Ashton (right).

Despite being so young, Gondola have already played a few gigs at The Sunflower Public House, The American Bar, Hop House and The Union Bar where they quickly gained recognition for their indie sound and renditions of Mac DeMarco's 'Freaking out the Neighbourhood' and Arctic Monkeys' 'Crying Lightning'.

Scott Wilson

Scott Wilson is a 27 year old Musician from Lisburn, Northern Ireland. He can usually be found gigging in places like The Foundry, White’s Tavern and Revolution de Cuba, where he plays originals and covers.

Live Gigs and Recurring Features

Miabella

The very talented Miabella and her band performed a memorable night of metal at the Union Bar on the 21st of February 2026 where she covered songs from alt rock legends Radiohead and grunge greats Alice in Chains. She constantly had the crowd in awe with the atmosphere and they did not shy away from singing along. The use of an acoustic set was a different approach to the alt rock classics but still created an emotional and authentic atmosphere allowing the band to maintain the exciting ambience of the night.
